It sounds as though he is a good fit for the program and the test plus all the other indications they are looking for will put him into the right placement. Also, at this young age, I would not be as worried about the working hard part of the equation. They're only in second grade and they can learn how to work hard as they mature. The more important aspect for the second and third graders is intelligence. [/quote]
