2. It was a total dump - I understand they have new owners new, but at the time it was not owned by Omni and was really in very poor shape. 
3. We had BEDBUGS.. yep. And then had to switch rooms at 3:30 am one night after finding the bedbugs. With a newborn who was screaming the entire time. 
4. The food was totally disgusting and overpriced on top of it. 
5. A family a few doors down had an accident in the hallway where the kid knocked out his two front teeth and we had to go help find emergency help for them.. newborn in tow.. since there were no emergency phones in the windy twisty hallways... that was a sight I hope to never see again, poor kid :(

All in all, I cringe whenever I hear the word "Homestead."[/quote]
