Two weeks ago, I interviewed for a paying internship as the women admitted that with my background, she was curious as to why I was even applying.  I would have loved the position because it would have allowed me to brush off the dust and learn the job without feeling like such an ol' fart.

Well.... i get the email saying they went with another candidate. :(

I have been doing a lot of reading about interviewing and DH has been practicing with me.  I know I don't do a very good job selling my skills as talking about myself has never been a strong suit of mine.  I wish someone would realize my passion and my ability to be a good worker and just give. me. a . chance!
