Nursing homes want to get paid, they are not concerned with what is in your financial best interest. And unless you are millionaire, do not ever,ever,ever even imply, much less sign up for financial responsibility for your parents' nursing home care. Go to the office of aging in your parents' area. Talk to the social worker there. They can inform you about the services available, health services, in home nurse care, meals on wheels, etc. [/quote]
