I was not Greek and didn't find it a social liability.  Frat parties were open to all -- they were not "exclusive."

What I loved about Dartmouth was the beautiful sense of place you feel living on that campus, and the wonderful teachers.  They pride themselves n their focus on undergraduate teaching.  My classmates were smart, interesting, passionate, cared about social issues, and diverse in their experiences and opinions.  They've gone on to do amazing things in politics, medicine, social work, entertainment, publishing, business, law, scientific research, and art.

Just one of the women I met there...
