It really is a pretty cool bed, and I haven't seen anything else like it. I would caveat that if you have carpet, it might not roll out as easily as it does on hardwood. I *believe* it fits a standard twin size mattress, but I will measure it to be sure. I did smell the mattress alone, and it does stink horribly. Even the mattress pad and sheets on it smelled bad. New question, anywhere local that sells great non-toxic, non-smelling mattresses? I think this bed has to have a foam or latex style mattress, not one with inner springs, since it's on a platform.[/quote]
