Spring hill is a langley pyramid has the best scores but is over crowded and has aging facilities. Westgate and shreve are primarily marshall pyramids Westgate has the lowest teacher to student ratio in the McLean area, good scores , is finishing a 14 million dollar renovation with state of the art facilities and outdoor classrooms. It is very diverse with a majority of asians. Shreve is similar to westgate but is more overcrowded and has old facilities. I believe they have a small aap class setup but it may go away.
I believe they all have local AAP (OP, it's basically GT if you're not from the area). Spring Hill has the most AAP kids. Westgate and Shrevewood are pretty equal numbers wise, although Shrevewood may have a few more. PP, where did you hear that Shrevewood's AAP might go away? I've not heard that. They are all good schools, but they each have a different feel. Spring Hill's scores are the highest because the SES of the students is higher. The others have more diversity (economic and ethnic). You should try to visit each (although the school year is out so that won't be so productive). Also, look online at their PTA websites, school website, etc. to get a feel.
