I did not have a good experience OP, sorry. I had extreme pain (contractions) and I actually passed out. If I had another miscarriage that didn't pass naturally I would opt for the D&C. So very sorry for your loss.
My experience was similar. It was pretty awful. It was my first miscarriage (and I already had a child). I had a second miscarriage a year later and decided to try to wait it out on my own because it was so hellacious. If things hadn't gotten moving on their own, Id have opted for a D&C and would goimg forward. I was in extreme pain for far too long with the cyctotek.
Yeah I had the extreme pain, nausea, passing out with the natural miscarriage so I know it's coming either way. My hope with the cytotec is to end this terrible morning sickness. Really can go another day feeling this sick.
Ugh I'm sorry OP. Feeling pregnancy symptoms while knowing the fetus has already stopped growing is awful. So unfair. In case you are the OP of the February thread on Expectant Moms, just wanted to send you a hug. (And if not, a hug anyway for what you're going through.) I am the poster on the February thread who had a (natural) miscarriage a week ago. Here's hoping we both have healthy pregnancies soon.
