I'll check pet smart - thanks![/quote] A dog can't really run on a tie out. It's too easy for them to get tangled, to run to far and hit the end and choke themselves, or to otherwise get hurt. If you're thinking of having your 2 and 4 year old in the yard at the same time then there's risk to them of being tripped or tangled in the cable. It sounds like you aren't really in a position to have a dog, if putting up some chicken wire or walking the dog is too much to handle. I know it would be for me if I had a 2 and a 4 year old, so I'm not judging. Can you rehome the puppy while he's small and cute and you aren't attached?[/quote]
