I get the bar thing. For normal professionals it would not be so easy unless you have a spouse with their head in the sand. In my house it is routine for me to hear a text go off and I ask my DH to grab my phone and let me know what someone wants. It would be quite suspicious if I suddenly kept my phone on me at all times and kept it locked.
And this is exactly how people find out. The cheater doesn't think real clearly about how his/her actions are starting to change. How the 'covering up" is actually pretty noticeable. The spouse gets suspicious, the cheater slips up, the spouse finds out, and downhill from there. Those that cheat on a very regular basis have really thought about this from the start. They've given themselves space to cheat in instead of spending every hour away from work at home, allowing their spouse to access their phone, not having a lock on it from the start, etc. It just cracks me up when one person all of a sudden changes how they act thinking they are being normal when it is the total opposite. Red flag.
