Blood on my hands? That's a bit harsh isn't it? Keep in mind, that this all occurred hours ago (the poster's last post was over 4 1/2 hours ago). It's too late to be calling anyone now. Moreover, her husband was on the way home. It's much better to let him handle it.

I have been dealing with threads like this for years. I have struggled with what I should do and sweated as I waited for posters to show up again after they made threats of suicide. In every case, the poster has reappeared (once after a week or so during which I subjected myself to a lot of guilt). There will probably be a time when the poster actually goes through with it. I certainly don't relish that day, but these are simply not situations in which I'm going to involve myself.
