How do you feel about calling the authorities and providing whatever information you can? After all, she claims to be caring for a 2 year old. Even if it's fake, this suggests a serious judgment problem if in fact she has a child in her care.

[b]If I call 911, it goes to DC's 911 system. All I can say is that someone I can't identify, in a place that I can't identify, has said something that I can't confirm. They would have to get additional information from the poster's ISP (in this case, Comcast). I would also be doing this about once a month. That's just not something that I want to be doing.

Is there a way you can call 9111 and just give them a heads up-they can do the detective work-was just going to report this as a child is possibly at risk.  It may just be an attention seeking nut, but perhaps she is serious.  Please do not turn your back on a child in need-you don't want "blood on your hands".  Do something even if it will take a few minutes of your time and be annoying to you-help an innocent kid![/quote]
But aren't you just as qualified as Jeff to make this call?  He's given you the only specialized info he has--that the poster uses Comcast.  Why haven't you called 911 yet?[/quote]
