A friend recommended me and they reached out.  They liked my resume and, it seems, me, so here I find myself.  While my current job is not perfect, it is pretty close.  I feel like a fool not jumping at this higher-paying job when it is also a huge career step, but it does not seem like the right time, especially with my three little ones at their current ages.  I sorta have a great thing going.  Of course, it is gov't, so that could change at any moment and I sure am not getting a salary increase if I stay in A.[/quote]

Care to define what a 'huge career step " is, if it doesn't include more money? Yet previously you said you would jump at this "higher-paying" job? [/quote]
A position that would demand and require more respect across my field and lead to bigger and better things down the road (that I would need to wait a few more years for in A).[/quote]
