What is your younger teen (13-15) doing this summer? Anybody doing non-sport classes or activities that are not a full-day summer camp: arts, photography, volunteering, etc.?
Our 14-year-old dances through the school year and takes summer dance at her studio, three to four weeks of one to two classes each afternoon. (She's also a camp staffer at a one-week day camp this year and doing a two-week drama camp, but those are "full-day summer camps".) OP, if you're seeking activities, try your county or city parks and recreation department or community center. Lots of things like arts classes, photography, etc. Also, if your kid is into visual arts, there are things like mosaic "camps" that are half-day for one week (a place in Vienna does this). Some art studios and art centers have classes. Not sure if you're just asking casually what folks are doing, or if you're seeking ideas for where to find activities--?
