Cons are that you are not really saving money, and you end up with less than idea results because you are not a pro at building houses. The contractors will perform work according to contract, and I've never had any issues with the quality of work. But no one will stand up to tell you that your idea of building a retaining wall in that spot is a shitty idea, for example. [/quote]
