Sadly, a lot of bat wings are hereditary. I was a serious athlete and still workout 6 days / week at 45. I lift weights, run, crossfit, Pilates, spinning--you name it. My arms are toned but the skin in the back get looser and sags a little more each year. My mother never wears sleeveless. I've been able to keep it to a minimum but from the research I've done a lot is genetic. Guess it's the price for a flat stomach and no saddle bags or muffin top.
This is me. Ive weight lifted for almost 20 years now and have a 6 pack and great biceps but bat wing triceps. After YEARS of doing various exercises to target them it just kept getting worst year after year. At age 50 I surgically fixed it. The scar is long but light and it seriously made me feel so much better about myself. After having 3 kids and spending majority of my 20s, 30s and 40s caring about their needs and paying for their braces and their sports and schooling etc etc it felt amazing to do something JUST.FOR.ME. I swore I would never do plastic surgery too but so glad I did.
Oh I would love to do that!
