I am a political junky, and I like discussing political issues. I used to be a member of CommonGroundPolitics. It started out as “the Hillary Clinton Forum” supporting Hillary’s run for President in the primary against Obama. When Obama won, party unity my ass (PUMA) took over, and they went to plan B, which was to support McCain ([b]the enemy of my enemy is my friend[/b]). At that time, they started letting Republicans join. Because of this truce between parties, people from the two parties got to know each other and found they had more in common than not. 
After the election, it became CommonGroundPolitics, for the discussion of political issues from all points of view. There were some good discussions on political issues, including some hot button issues such as abortion and gay marriage. Some minds were even changed. 
CommonGroundPolitics no longer exists and I was hoping one of your members knew of a similar forum.
