[/quote] I'm not a teacher and I would not want to be one at that salary. You do realize that teachers work during the evenings and probably on weekends grading papers, etc? Being a teacher is a hard, thankless job, especially in this country where teachers aren't given the respect they deserve. I have kids in FCPS and their teachers have ranged from amazing to shouldn't be teaching anyone bad. I think the latter category is the result of not having enough really good people wanting to teach because this area is too expensive to live on a teacher's salary. [/quote]
