1) shut up and listen, let them do most the talking at the beginning. And Listen very carefully to what they are actually asking and answer only that question.

3) Do your research ahead of the interview and find out about what the company does, and what specific projects they are currently involved in.  It will show that you care enough to research them.

4) And in the end, when they ask you if YOU have any questions -hell yes you do! Make sure you ask them a couple of questions at the very least.  The questions should be related directly to the position you're interviewing for as well as a few general questions about the company.

5) do not ask them about their benefits package. Makes it look like that's the only reason you're even interviewing.

6) Be prepared to tell them however about your salary expectations. And be careful to not underestimate yourself.  You have only one chance to get the salary you want. You cannot re-negotiate your compensation package once you're on board. [/quote]
