You can buy your way into the UC with a bachelors degree and a decent income.  You can buy your way into the MC with a lot of money.  You can't but your way into the Cosmos Club so I would say it is the most prestigious and exclusive club in DC.[/quote]

I agree with this assessment, and we are members. However, we are not there to impress anyone. Its really not that kind of place. We use it frequently BC it fits our downtown lifestyle. We use it as a private restaurant, love the pool, kids events and the bar. You can throw private events there easily with the help of  great staff. It adds a nice element to our life. Meanwhile plenty we know do belong to the MC but it is a hautier place. I don't want to always feel on pointe to go swimming, or ready to bump into senior people in my industry. The uclub is my escape from all of that. [/quote]
