Chesterbrook: I like the way it integrates AAP and SN and support those that are both.
Churchill Road: Loe the fact there are more male teachers in the classrooms

Franklin Sherman:  Hope it can maintain its relative smallness, but currently great community
Kent Gardens: French Program as long as you have a French speaker at home, more laid back parents.
Lemon Road: Used to be a small unsung jewel- major changes that they are handling well with little advanced notice
Timber Lane: Small classes help many students, more resources due to being Title I

OP asked about ES, not MS, but I'll still chime in to say we had experience with another MS in FCPS before Longfellow, and Longfellow was much better in our book.  Yes, the principal didn't ooze warmth toward the kids, and there was a big emphasis on the latest awards won by the same group of TJ-bound kids, but the front office was friendly, the school was well-run, and we always had the sense that the administrators knew what the teachers were doing and how students should be progressing academically.  Not so at our prior MS.  [/quote]
