Not all the way back, unless the person behind is short. Signed, Person with long legs who hates having the seat in front of her dig into her knees
This reminds me of a time I took a red-eye flight from Seattle. The person in front of me reclined basically into my lap (and I'm not super tall either-- 5'8") so that every time I moved at all, I would bump her seat. She kept turning around and giving me the hairy eyeball. I really should have been more assertive and said, "LISTEN LADY! Don't recline into my GD lap and I won't disturb your precious sleep!" But I didn't. Major regret. Anyway, I think it's fine to recline; it's not okay to basically be laying on top of someone. Just be reasonable about it, OP.
