I can't find the links that I found before and think that I might've looked at reviews from previous years as well.

And without looking at it, I think this link probably mentions how Turbotax is taking a big hit this year.

When I looked into it, TaxAct is the cheapest and has pretty decent reviews.  The issue for me was that you can only buy it directly from that site.

So ended up going with HR Block because you can buy it from multiple retailers.

I did consider just going ahead and getting Turbotax, especially since they started to offer free upgrades for people who need the Schedule D.  But figured that I've always wanted to try another software.

So far HR Block seems pretty decent.  I actually didn't like how Turbotax changed their layout/format a few years ago, where it's more wizard based.  And I think HR Block offered the more straightforward format that I preferred.[/quote]
