More information might help. Can she walk? Bedridden? Use of arms? Are you local to her? I have had several surgeries that left me so I could not walk. People thought I would get so much reading done but it would just put me to sleep. A new comfortable outfit to lay around in. It feels nice to get out of the usual PJs and sweats in a new pair. Gift cards for movies, netflix, etc. Things to snack on Does she enjoy any crafts? Knitting? Embroidery? A beautiful blanket. iPad.
Thank you! Sadly, we are not local. She already has an iPad and a Netflix subscription. She can walk, a little, and can use her arms OK. She does love knitting and sewing. I am, OTOH, completely ignorant of what a knitter/sewer would like.
Check out Purl Soho website. They have some really wonderful stuff and you can call to ask for advice. They have some preset kits that include everything you would need. They are really wonderful.
