this may be a little graphic, but I'm confused too about how far along I was.  I think that will help me decide how long to wait.  the more my body did, the more I need to recover and wait I think.

I thought I was about 6 weeks.  I did pass some tissue, so I don't think it was just a chemical or very early (like 4 week) pregnancy.  the bleeding of the miscarriage was finished in only a few days though which has helped me move on.  at least I know my body was doing something to develop what it needed.

that said, it took me being a week late to get a positive and while it was positive, it wasn't a super dark line or anything.

I wonder if the pregnancy just wasn't strong enough from the start so my hormones didn't rise enough.  
about 3 days after the positive I had a neg test, so it seems like my hormones were just not where they needed to be at all.

I hope my next appt with more testing sheds light on if I have a hormone problem like low progesterone.

anyone have a miscarriage like this?  seemed so short like a chemical, but the tissue seems to say that I was further along than I thought.[/quote]
