And for us, double sinks is great for a number of reasons.  We often use one sink to put dirty dishes for a while and still have the other sink to use.  We let the dishes collect for up to a few hours and then clean the dishes once instead of almost continously doing dishes.  My spouse and I are often cooking together and we each have a sink available to us.  We just got this perk:  we have preschooler twins who have decided they want to help us do dishes after meals (e.g. play with the water).  With kitchen chairs, they each get a sink and they don't squabble.  :-)  But, we've had a number of times when a double sink has been invaluable to us.[/quote]
