The essays cover so many different topics, and they're all so well-written and interesting. I also loved how clearly the author's voice came through. Great read. I also really liked Visit From the Goon Squad, by Jennifer Egan. It's a novel comprised of linked short stories. They seem very different and each can stand alone, but they are connected through various characters and definitely by theme, as well. I'm sure it's a book I'll re-read over time. Entertaining with lots of depth. For a total laugh, you might want to try Spoiled Brats, by Simon Rich. They're short stories, and the best of the bunch are biting and truly hilarious. [/quote]
