For people hoping to get an OOB spot somewhere, learning that a new group of kids is grandfathered impacts that calculation of trying determine your chances and would therefore impact your lottery picks and rankings. I'm not lotterying...my kids are where they need to be so I don't have a vested interest, but saying it would have no impact on the lottery is just wrong. [/quote]
