For the record, I attended Madeira which is probably the second strongest all girls boarding school, but still not nearly as strong as it used to be academically. Sadly girls boarding schools have greatly suffered since most boys boarding schools went co-ed. Madeira is fortunate to be outside of DC and now half of the students are day which has helped maintain the academic profile of the students.
