Long story short, if you have unlimited funds and no other big projects to do, go for it! If not...six panel doors and fresh hardware go a long way and look just fine.

Fwiw we got the five-panel doors through Smoots in Alexandria. Glass knobs through antiquehardware.com (or something like that).[/quote]
