DC just turned 3 and started the perk language class in MC. I can see improvement but I also see how her peers are moving really fast. I'm considering adding some private ST. Any suggestions in Rockville/Bethesda/kensington/SS? I looked at TLC and was wondering if there's anyone with experience there?
We used TLC many years ago. We were assigned to an amazing, very experienced therapist but he left within a few months. We were then transfered to another therapist who was very inexperienced and not yet licensed. The fee was the same. This seemed strange. We left.
Thanks, I called TLC and it seemed a bit disorganized. The contact info on the website is wrong and the person has since left but they haven't changed it. I also talked to a ST at national Speech, they seemed to be better organized and more responsive than TLC. I also contacted Pediatric development center, but they wanted me to have my child skip one of her morning prek language classes to go there, since they don't have any other availability....nope. When I called my insurance company to inquiry about out of network benefits, they said they needed a code and reimbursemnet varies depending on the code. ANyone knows more about this? Thank
