My HS kid has some issues that have made school challenging, and as a result we've made some choices that make his transcript look odd.  Right now, he says he wants to go away to a 4 year school, and I'm wondering if it would be helpful to talk to someone about ways to strategize with that goal in mind.  At the same time, I'd ned someone who is able to understand the big picture of a SN kid, and who needs to be able to strategize, while still understanding that his health comes first, and taking me at my word when I say "Yep, I know that honors physics would look better than weightlifting in his schedule, but having that break in the day to do something he loves is crucial."

After reading the other college counseling thread, I don't think we need or could afford a "full package", but I'm wondering if a single meeting would be helpful as we plan his last couple years of high school.
