After careful consideration of the needs of our schools and district-wide initiatives, DCPS has reassessed the costs associated with maintaining the School Choice Transportation Program and has determined to discontinue transportation services and fare card assistance following school year 2014 – 2015. This assistance has gradually reduced the number of buses and routes provided, given the declining number of School Choice students served.
