My understanding is that you leave people to their beliefs, but that those people who do not believe in a single God or his message and messengers will be addressed/punished by God. Muslims are not supposed to "punish" them. There's a sense that there is nothing another human can do to convince someone who deliberately disbelieves. Chapter 15 of the Quran addresses this pretty directly.[/quote]
