He's actually really excited about it as a result, and while I'm sure he'll be nervous as it approaches, I think having a friend is going to make all the difference for him. Because of his difficulty with new situations, we are mostly sticking with a single camp, but mixing in one or two others we think he'd really like - but again, with his friend. If he likes aftercare, it sounds like that camp might be a good choice for him and things are likely to go well after the first week or so.
