NP.  yes it does sound exhausting and stupid.  1) its YOUR income and budget, different people have different spending levels and debt.  The person making 5 times as much as you might not spend what you spend, etc.  2) why are you focusing on keeping up with your neighbors?  Live your life and spend how you feel comfortable.  If you are living pay check to pay check and want to thats your choice.  Your neighbors income has nothing to do with YOU.[/quote]
