OP here, and thanks for the responses. I felt the same about Annunciation, and I felt a bit out of place the one time we went to Holy Trinity. A bit like we weren't dressed up nicely enough! I am probably just overly self-conscious, though. I might also try Little Flower in Bethesda...
I think you are probably just a little self conscious. I regularly went in jeans and never felt out of place. And drove from CCMD each Sunday. It was definitely worth it! I also went to daily mass sometimes at Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and liked it okay. No idea what Sunday services are like though.
NP here. which mass is the "jeans ok" mass? on that note, which is the best one to bring pre-schoolers to?
We attend Holy Trinity - The parish is doing major renovations right now so things are a bit chaotic and may not feel as welcoming right now as everthing is really crowded and there is no coffee and dounuts to socialize. We go to mass at the chapel and hustle over to the school to get the children to religious ed. There is currently a mass that is on Georgetown Campus at 9AM that we attend with young children here is the map to where the chapel is http://maps.georgetown.edu/dahlgrenchapel/
