I would like to get my family back to attending mass regularly but I haven't yet found a parish where I feel at home. We are close to St. Ann's at Tenley and have attended a few times, but I'm not really getting a warm, family feeling there. Admittedly I have only gone a handful of times, but I'm wondering if Blessed Sacrament might be better? It's not too much farther although we would drive rather than walk. I also attended Annunciation before we moved, which was fine, and we tried Holy Trinity in Georgetown once, but that's way too far for us to go regularly. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I am an Annunciation parishioner but sometimes attend mass at Blessed Sacrament. BS seems more family oriented. Annunciation continues to have a fairly large proportion of older parishioners and fewer young families. Annunciation is more diverse than BS, however. I'll probably get flamed for this, but whenever I attend Holy Trinity I get a self-congratulatory vibe.
