Obviously I don't really know everybody's financial status but my strong impression is that there are a very good number of kids whose families don't have "a lot" of money.  The school does put a lot of emphasis on financial aid, I believe.  And the kids I have met certainly don't exude an "upper crust" vibe.

In terms of outside school social activities, so far I have seen and been aware of really good interactions - including parties as well as just general hanging out.  I expect that they are normal high school kids, which is to say that some will do some things of which not all parents would approve.  Some might drink and/or smoke, especially when older.  But I think that would be true anywhere.  Certainly was true back in my high school.[/quote]
