Despite the sarcasm, I think there's something to what this poster says. I've observed a lot of men in the workplace who still carry the attitudes of being in high school, and I think that's probably true of women, as well. With guys it's more overt competition for status, and some of them never actually grow up, but I've also seen a lot of women carry "Mean Girls"/"Queen Bees and Wannabes" mode into adulthood. I've seen some women who are supportive to other women, but I've seen far more who undercut each other and compete for status in a very high school clique-ish way, even at the professional level.
