I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct forum, but I hope some of you can give me some tips/ideas/input, etc. I am an excellent organizer. The best. Not to toot my own horn, but I really am outstanding at it. And the best part of it is, I LOVE LOVE doing it. I could do it for hours and could even see myself doing it as a hobby. Well sort of. :P Anyway, I currently work as a part-time in home professional nanny and during children's nap times, I voluntarily organize the children's play areas, closets and drawers. The parents always remark on how tidy everything looks and how I should do this for a living. I wish I could. I think I would be totally within my element. I see people on shows such as Lifetime's Hoarders saying they are "Professional" Organizers. Other shows as well. How does one obtain such a title? So far, I have not seen a college where I can obtain a Ph.D in organizing. How do these people get certified or credentialed to be able to call themselves professional organizers?? Because I would love to become one and am seriously thinking of making business cards and seeing where I could go with this. A few of my nanny families are willing to serve as referrals for me. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance everyone.
