My kids have had some truly life-changing teachers, so I don't agree with that part. Even if the criteria to become a teacher got much harder, those particular teachers would meet the mark. There are definitely people born to teach. Unfortunately, that is not always the case and there are those who should have chosen a different career. In the US those people only get weeded out if they burn out. They aren't fired or are rarely fired.[/quote]
