We were specifically told to take into account that those are end-of-senior-year GPAs, which are higher at our school because the kids tend to take lots of APs. They tell us this so we won't freak out and think our kids won't get in anywhere. P [/quote] At our school, they've told us the Naviance GPAs are for all four years, but they seem to encourage kids to make choices about where to apply based on their GPA after three years. I guess they don't want the kids to be disappointed, but it tends to steer them towards safer choices, since senior-year GPAs tend to be higher. [/quote]
