Some of Fairfax did get reassigned to Oakton and other schools (mostly Woodson). There is an upcoming work session scheduled for November 15th where FCPS facilities staff plans to present recommendations that include potential boundary changes. The materials haven't been posted yet, but from reading the description that was made available it sounds like the recommendations will be based on projections from the spring of 2014 that have already been shown to be wildly off the mark with respect to the fall 2014 enrollments at numerous FCPS schools.
