Most likely they've been unable to locate the bodies at the most probable dump sites and don't have the manpower to continue searching. Sadly, these kids are most likely dead and their remains may eventually turn up accidentally. I feel sorry for the father and extended family b/c even though they probably know in their hearts that the kids are dead, they would at least have some closure.[/quote]
