There are a lot of private schools in NYC besides the ones mentioned and you need to cast a wide net. Private school admissions are a nightmare there starting in nursery school: A few yrs ago there was a billionaire hedge fund manager who was indicted for insider trading or something like that and the whole motive behind it was to get his kid into Horace Mann nursery school. You may want to hire an educational consultant who specialize in applying to NYC private schools.[/quote]
