About 6 adults seem to do the walking each day (different people every day). Anyone who ever picks up walking or by car gets a number at the open house before school starts in August. If you only use it once or twice, fine. It sounds complex but goes really quickly, and I think it's worth it if it means that no one is ever unaccounted for. They also walk each group of bus riders out with an adult after they've taken attendance in the bus line, so no one ever misses the bus.[/quote]
