I would have had a ton of student loan debt and would have wanted to start paying it off right away. And I have met many, many people with a similar experience. It sounds like it worked out well in your case, but in the absence of a specific reason to go to a private school, a public school is a far superior value for most students. P.S. I did private research with professors at my public undergrad too.[/quote]
