If it were my family, I would not push her whatsoever.  You have a child who is saying she will sabotage the CogAT AND a mother who is saying she is somewhere b/w ged. ed. and AAP.  You can't force her to do well on the CogAT - it is like forcing a 2.5 year old to use the potty.  [/quote]
