OP - each FCPS cluster seems to have one or more elementary schools that offer enhanced autism. Are you looking for a specific school recommendation with the intention of relocating to that specific school area? Keep in mind that a cluster may have one school with those services, or multiple, and if there are multiple schools, you may not be able to choose which school your child attends. When my child moved up from PAC to Kindergarten, there was 1 school in our cluster with an established Enhanced Autism program, and one that was just starting up. We were not given a choice, we were told which school our child would attend. FWIW, our child attends Fort Hunt Elementary School, in the Carl Sandburg/West Potomac pyramid. The program at Fort Hunt is great, we are extremely pleased. There was some weird info in the press last year about the gen ed classes at Fort Hunt and I want to say that we've NEVER seen the negative things they mentioned in those articles. The school is extremely welcoming and supportive of the kids in the EA program.
